Youtube to Mp3 Converter is a Chrome extension that converts user-selected YouTube videos to MP3 files in the browser and provides optional queue, playlist, batch download, billing, and feedback features.

Information the extension uses

• Website content: when you use the extension on YouTube, it reads the active video URL, title, thumbnail, playlist links, and media information needed to perform the conversion you requested.
• Local extension data: the extension stores settings, selected MP3 quality, queue items, free batch usage, and an anonymous install ID in Chrome storage.
• Payment information: paid subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store full credit card numbers.
• Feedback information: if you submit feedback or uninstall feedback, we may receive the message, reason, optional email address, anonymous install ID, and submission time.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide the extension's features: MP3 conversion, saving downloads, queue and playlist handling, license checks, subscription management, support, feedback, and abuse prevention.

Local conversion

MP3 conversion runs locally in your browser using code packaged with the extension. The extension does not upload your converted audio files to our server.

Third-party services

• Stripe: used for subscription checkout, billing management, and license status.
• Resend: used to deliver feedback and uninstall feedback emails to the developer.
• Cloudflare Workers/KV: used for license checks, feedback forms, and subscription status storage.

Data sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for advertising, creditworthiness, or purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate payments, licensing, feedback, and hosting.

Data retention

Local extension data remains in your browser until you remove it or uninstall the extension. License records are kept as needed to provide subscription access. Feedback submissions may be retained to improve support and product quality.
